Telephone Calls

We are happy to provide you with the health information that you need. Please place calls regarding well-child issues during weekdays office hours. When you call, please make the following information available to our office staff:

Your Name
Child's Name
Child's Symptoms
Nature of the Problem

The physician will call you back as soon as possible.

For telephone calls with patient's issues requiring greater than 5 minutes, an appointment will be scheduled to discuss issues with the physician in person.


After office hours, on weekends and holidays, please call us only for emergencies or urgent problems at our emergency number: 1-516-320-5329. Your calls will be received by an answering service and transferred to the physician on call. The doctor will usually return your call within 20 minutes. If you do not receive a callback within one hour in a non-emergency situation, please call again. Otherwise, proceed to your nearest emergency department.


We phone in prescriptions refills to pharmacies only during office hours because we need to have your child's chart handy to check on dosages and disease status. Plan ahead so you don't run out of important medicines.

Always have the phone number of your pharmacy handy when you call the office. Antibiotic drugs should never be sued without consulting a physician. Our office will not prescribe antibiotics without examining your child first.

Billing & Fees

Bills are to be paid as they are incurred.

Co-payments will be collected at the point of check in. An additional administrative fee will apply for co-payments not paid at the time of visit.


There is an administrative fee for school and camp forms. Please give the office 24 hours to process the forms. Make sure the forms have the appropriate patient's information such as name, age, and address. Forms can be picked up or mailed to your home.
